My video was me working out in the gym and my house. I used 2 different camera shot to emphasise the the quick nature of the training session. I used very rapid movement to capture the audience's attention. The props used are dumbbells, boxing gloves and a boxing bag. I used mostly close up and rarely used wide shots to emphasise on my workout. The music in the video symbolises that you should always work to your potential and push yourself to your limits. I purposely made the editing quick to match the speed of the music and clips.

Write a paragraph for each one exploring the way meanings are created using those media codes. 50 cent maintains a serious facial expression to express how serious he is about succeeding. The main colours are black and white so it can highlight his face and won't distract you from many other details. The message "i am what i am" conveys he doesn't care about others opinions, did the hard work and pushed myself to where he is right now. The text is serif which connotes a less modern approach to the branding. The quote said by 50 Cent demonstrates  that more chances are not guaranteed  in life and you should take advantage of the first one you get. 2) Next, analyse a  print advert of   your choice  using the same media codes:  Technical, Written or verbal, Symbolic or non-verbal, Narrative.  Make sure you add your chosen

  1) Find a distinctive   still image   and write an analysis of the mise-en-scene. Use each of the aspects you've learned in the lesson. The lighning is very bright and vibrant to emphasise the danger upon the human at the top and it is much darker in the bottom to show the ominous nature of the shark.The setting is in the ocean which conveys the normal area for a shark to attack in. The actor is placed directly above to the shark to foreshadow the upcoming doom they are about to face. The actor is shown to be in a swimming motion and is desperate to escape. 2) Find  TWO  film or TV extracts on YouTube from different genres (e.g. horror, sci-fi, costume drama).
