Film & TV Language: Sound analysis tasks

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt6VzQ_0k_I The clip starts of with diegetic music of the audience's cheering and moaning. There is also a strong emphasise on the fighter's attacks and sound effects. There is intense non diegetic music in the background of the clip which heavily fits the background since it is the final of a major tournament. The pain inflicted onto the 2 fighters was also louder than it should to capture the audience's attention and keep them engaged and see who will come out on top. Towards the end the audience's cheers got louder and inspirational/motivational music was playing which fit the theme because the main protagonist got the win at the end.

Film & TV Language: Mise-en-scene video feedback and learner response

  1) Type up your feedback from your teacher in full. Very strong use of mise en scene . Face getting blurred out made the video unique. I need to find the original video clip. 2) Use the feedback you've been given to write your own self-assessment of your video using WWW (What Went Well) and EBI (Even Better If...) Very good setting, props and quick camera shots. Rapid editing and music flows well together. I need to put my face in the video next time. 3) Now reflect on your own work in more detail. How did your planning help clarify and develop your ideas? I planned to use 2 different settings to fit the theme of training. The gym setting makes it very clear to the  viewer what I am trying to do. 4) Thinking technically, how could you improve your work for future videos? (E.g. filming, editing, etc.) Keep the audio consistent and keep my face in the video instead of blurring it out. 5) Finally, what have you learned regarding the importance of mise-en-scene in film and television?
